Hello again. Right now it is about 12:45 am in Sardinia. I spent the past 2 days at a hotel in a small suburb of Rome for an orientation. I was a little disappointed because they had said that we would get a tour of Rome but we did not get a chance :/ hopefully one will come in the future lol. Today I spent most of the day waiting for my departure time to come. At about 2, the other students traveling to Sardinia and I left for the airport. Going through security was crazy as always, i'm just glad that I dont have any more plane rides for a while haha. Our flight ended up being delayed for over an hour for technical problems, so we had a little adventure in the airport. The plane ride was only a short 45 minutes and when I walked out of the doors my host family was there waiting for me with signs and flowers :) I then traveled home, and saw the Sanluri castle which is very close to my new home. Even though we didn't eat until very late, dinner was delicious! I am so lucky that my host family is so nice :)
